Foundation
Own the standard. Full range, locked midline, zero junk reps.
Position, range of motion, and showing up seven days a week.
Operation Order 01 / No gym, no gear
Seven days to break inertia. Three hundred sixty-five to become someone else. Same movement, same standard, same brutal honesty — you just choose how long you are willing to be held to it.
Section 1 / The Standard
Most people do not have a pushup problem. They have a standard problem. Half reps and a sagging back inflate the number and stall the progress. Here is the rep this entire program is built on — no interpretation, no wiggle room.
Section 2 / Progression
A 7-day sprint compresses them into days. A 365-day campaign gives each one three months. The structure never changes — only the runway does.
Own the standard. Full range, locked midline, zero junk reps.
Position, range of motion, and showing up seven days a week.
Same volume, less rest. Compress the work.
Work capacity, shorter rest windows, ladders and clusters.
Attack the angles that expose weak links.
Hand position, tempo, decline, unilateral loading.
Express the strength you built. Power and control.
Explosive reps, advanced holds, top-end max output.
Section 3 / Honest self-assessment
Do one max-effort set of standard pushups right now. Stop when the form breaks. That number picks your track. Nobody is watching — the only person you can cheat here is yourself.
Section 4 / The commitment
Every option below is fully unlocked. Rep totals recalculate live against the track you selected above, so you know the real cost before you sign up for it.
Section 5 / The Numbers
No pushup challenge should ask for a commitment it will not quantify. This is the complete programmed volume for all three tracks at all eight challenge lengths.
| Challenge length | Recruit | Operator | Cadre | Sessions | Rest days | Max tests |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7 days | 104 | 222 | 418 | 7 | 0 | 2 |
| 30 days | 670 | 1,435 | 2,743 | 27 | 3 | 3 |
| 60 days | 1,541 | 3,340 | 6,275 | 54 | 6 | 4 |
| 90 days | 2,646 | 5,769 | 10,902 | 81 | 9 | 5 |
| 120 days | 3,748 | 8,111 | 15,310 | 107 | 13 | 6 |
| 180 days | 6,171 | 13,445 | 25,348 | 161 | 19 | 8 |
| 270 days | 10,016 | 21,767 | 41,112 | 241 | 29 | 11 |
| 365 days | 14,373 | 31,196 | 58,802 | 326 | 39 | 15 |
Total programmed pushup repetitions by track and challenge length, generated by the program engine rather than estimated. Sessions, rest days and max-effort test days are identical across all three tracks — only repetition volume changes.
Section 6 / The Library
The program rotates these by phase and by track level. Nothing is unlocked by payment — variations unlock when the phase and your track call for them.
Hands under the shoulders, body in one line from heel to crown. Chest to fist height, elbows back at 45 degrees, full lockout.
Hands on a bench, stair, or counter. The higher the hands, the easier the rep. Lower the surface as you get stronger.
Knees down, hips still extended — do not sit back. Same chest depth, same lockout.
Five seconds down under control, then reset from the knees. Builds the bottom position faster than anything else.
3 down, 1 pause, 1 up. Removes momentum and exposes every soft spot in the rep.
Hands one-and-a-half shoulder widths apart. Biases chest, shortens the range slightly.
Hands inside shoulder width, elbows tracking the ribs. Triceps do the work.
Index fingers and thumbs touching under the sternum. Brutal triceps demand — cut your reps in half.
One hand forward, one back. Alternate every set. Trains the asymmetric loading a real one-arm needs.
Feet on a bench or step. Shifts load to the upper chest and shoulders. Keep the ribs down.
At the top, tap the opposite shoulder. Anti-rotation work disguised as a pushup.
Drive the knee to the same-side elbow on the descent. Hips stay square.
Wide hands, shift into one arm while the other stays straight. The on-ramp to one-arm work.
Drive hard enough to leave the floor. Land soft with bent elbows. Low reps, full rest.
Hands by the hips, lean the shoulders past the wrists. Straight-arm strength in a pushup wrapper.
Feet wide, one hand behind the back, five seconds down. Push back up with both hands.
Section 7 / Questions
On the Operator track a 30-day challenge programs 1,435 total repetitions across 27 sessions. The Recruit track programs 670 and the Cadre track programs 2,743. Volume is distributed across sets, not performed in one block.
Start: Hands under shoulders, arms locked, body straight from heel to crown. Descent: Elbows back at roughly 45 degrees. Controlled — not a collapse. Depth: Chest to fist height, upper arms at or below parallel to the floor. Ascent: Push as one unit. Hips and chest arrive together. Finish: Full elbow lockout. Body still in one line. That is one rep. Rest: Rest is in the plank or the top position only. Knees on the deck ends the set.
Start with 7 or 30 days. The 7-day challenge exists to break inertia and establish a baseline maximum. The 30-day challenge is long enough to produce measurable change and short enough to finish. Challenges of 180 days and longer are built for people who have already completed a shorter cycle and want a full training year.
Yes. Every session in the program uses bodyweight only and requires no gym, no bench and no equipment. Beginners regress the movement using incline pushups against a counter or stair, knee pushups, or slow negative repetitions rather than skipping the session.
I. Foundation — Own the standard. Full range, locked midline, zero junk reps. II. Density — Same volume, less rest. Compress the work. III. Variation — Attack the angles that expose weak links. IV. Mastery — Express the strength you built. Power and control.
Log the miss and take the next scheduled day as written. Do not stack the missed volume onto the following session. Accumulated make-up volume is the most common reason long challenges collapse in the second month.
The program includes scheduled rest days at every length beyond seven days and varies daily intensity rather than repeating identical maximum efforts. Anyone with a shoulder, elbow, wrist or back injury, or any medical condition, should consult a physician before beginning.
